Position Purpose

This role is responsible for monitoring corporate security devices and applications 

This role is accountable for the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of all Security hardware and software systems and networks.

The role is additionally accountable to ensure the security of in-house network services.

Position Outcomes & Measures

• Firewalls, Intruder Prevention Systems, Patch management Systems, Certificate Authority, Proxy Servers, Anti-Virus, Email Filters, Web Content Filters, Backup Devices and SSL Taps. 
• Secure Data Centre with built in redundancies to ensure Business continuity
• Disaster Recovery Plan

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Higher National Diploma in IT Systems, BTech Information Systems or related qualification 
• Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) is an added advantage 

• 3 years experience of recent professional experience in Network Administration or related environment for diploma holders
• Direct entry for degree holders

Salary: An attractive Salary Package commensurate to the market
