Position Purpose


As a member of the WUC Executive team, The Human Resource Director contributes development and attainment of the Corporation’s strategy, by developing the People agenda and developing a Corporation wide Human Resources strategy that enables the achievement the corporation’s strategic objectives through people. 

The role encompasses Talent Acquisition, Performance Management, Succession Planning, Learning & Development, Remuneration, Employee Relations and Employee Wellness practices as well as drives the demonstration of behaviours that align with WUC’s values.

Qualifications and Experience

 

  • A Bachelors Degree in Human Resource Management, Development, Industrial Psychology or related field is required; 
  • A Business Administration or Management post graduate qualification is an added advantage 
  • 8 Years Experience and exposure in Human Resource Management (professional experience managing and directing HR functions such as Organisation Design, HR Business Partnering, Recruitment or Talent Management), including 6 years Senior Management level experience

Salary: An attractive Salary Package commensurate to the market

Leave: 30 working days per annum

5 years Fixed Term Contract
