Position Purpose

This role ensures continuity of business by maintaining production and distribution of product by pulling orders from inventory; delivering production materials and supplies as per departmental requisitions, both physically and in the system.

  • Accuracy in activities.
  • Ease of access to materials at warehouse.
  • Timeous delivery of materials & supplies.
  • Capturing of receipts and issues in the system.
  •  Timely submission of supplier's invoices for payment.
  • Well maintained equipment for smooth warehouse operation.
  • Accountable for stock variances or discrepancies.
  • Reduction of accidents and incidents in the warehouse.
  • Adherence to quality standards.
  • Adherence to safety standards. 

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications:

  • Certificate in Supply Chain/Business/Management/Logistics or equivalent

Experience:

  • Direct Entry

Technical Competencies

  • Materials Handling
  • Computer skills

Remuneration

Salary:An attractive salary package commensurate to the market

Leave:20 working days per annum
