Position Purpose

This role is accountable for records management services at BCs, such as processing, filing documentation and completion of records to ensure accurate, secure maintenance of records in accordance with laid down procedures.

The role creates and maintains the Business Centre databases to ensure quick retrieval of information and implements the records distribution and storage policies.

Position Key Responsibilities

Overseeing the switch from paper to electronic record keeping

Enforce usage of the adopted WUC technology for records management

Ensuring that data is protected

Classifying and indexing records

Process documentation and mail by recording, filing and distribution in accordance with established procedures

Review records contents regularly to ensure correspondence are properly filed and arrange for the transfer of such correspondence to their appropriate file

Ensure availability of records as required, by attending to all request made at the service counter, telephonically in compliance with Service Level Agreement and Standards

Ensure strict discipline within the records storage areas by preventing unauthorised movement of files and personnel

Monitor stationery usage, stationery/forms are readily available by recording issued materials

Participate in optimising the performance of the section by undertaking such other duties as directed

Qualification & Experience

Diploma in Records Management or a related Administration qualification

Remuneration

Salary: An attractive Salary Package commensurate to the market

Leave: 25 working days per annum
